InCarCables Car Stereo Ipod/mp3 Auxiliary Aux-in Input Cable 3.5mm …

I recently came across an awesome article posted yesterday, by admin, and entitled InCarCables Car Stereo Ipod/mp3 Auxiliary Aux-in Input Cable 3.5mm … that I would urge anyone to read. Here are a couple of little extracts in order to whet your appetites!

6 ft and 4 ft cables also available on Amazon., Comes with helpful instructions and tips for use. Product Details Brand: InCarCables EAN: 5060210950026 Label: InCarCables Manufacturer: InCarCables MPN: A4002-03-0.30 Part Number: A4002-03-0.

Now, reading admin’s post got me thinking so I had a quick search around for some other articles on the subject and found some more gems. e.g. this post posted last week, by admin, on a blog called Enventure Engineering Blog:

2) Were often used in mission-critical applications where their failure would have catastrophic effects. The reliability of lead-free components and solders was unknown (five years being the minimum period for risk assessment) and so these products were made exempt. The exemptions covered mainly the medical, military/defence, monitoring/recording and telecommunications fields. However, the exclusions were only temporary, lasting as long as it took for RoHS compliant alternatives to be quality assessed. Mechanical engineering companies must not get complacent just because they manufacture medical or aerospace equipment on the exclusion list. This list is constantly being reviewed, with products being deleted at regular intervals, either due to re-evaluation or because the expiry date has passed. The EU recently published an updated list of the exemptions that had either expired or been removed. They included: Lead in RIG (rare earth iron garnet) Faraday rotators of fibre optic communication systems.

Yet another fantastic post on the subject came from unknown over on Technology News posted back in 2006, entitled The CPU-1433 ? a new RoHS compliant SBC from Eurotech | Technology … which is also certainly worth a look!

The CPU-1433 is available in standard (0ºC to +60ºC) and extended (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges. Onboard soldered 128MB of DDR memory improves system reliability in mobile installations where severe shock and vibration is common. The CPU-1433 mass storage can be implemented using a solid state Flash DOM (Disk On Module) extending the usability of this module in applications requiring secure data storage and improved storage reliability in harsh environmental conditions.
Ideal applications for the CPU-1433 include mobile computer systems, real-time industrial control, process automation, digital video and multimedia data acquisition, in-vehicle electronics networking and wireless communications.
