Reading admin’s article got me thinking so I did a quick search for some other posts on the subject and discovered some more greats. i.e. this post by Neon Limelight, posted earlier today, on a blog called Neon Limelight – Exclusive Music News, Artist Interviews, Reviews, Photos!:

Her band’s success (commercially) is nowhere near Drake levels, but the talent is undeniable. And even with the annoying TV ad placements, “Dog Days Are Over” still kicks ass. Robyn dancing her way to a nom!: It’s pretty damn criminal how overlooked Robyn’s sensational Body Talk albums have been, but FINALLY, some vindication for one of the album’s best tracks — and one of the best pop songs of the year — “Dancing On My Own.” Robyn has some stiff competition as she vies for Best Dance Recording against Lady Gaga, Rihanna, La Roux, and Goldfrapp, but a nomination is a good reason to hit the club for an all-out ass-shaking celebration. The Lows: No Christina Aguilera!? You truly lost me!: So Bionic wasn’t Christina Aguilera’s best work and it disappeared from the charts faster than a slice of cake from a fat man’s plate but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t at least a few Grammy-worthy gems on the album.

Yet another fine article on the subject came from jaimeclewis on Higher Highs, Lower Lows posted earlier today, entitled A whole new method for stalking people on the internet. « Higher … which is also definitely worth a look!

So many of us perform widely varying roles from day to day.  For instance, I’m a wife/mom first, but I also write about food/wine/beer/travel, volunteer in my community and keep this blog for your reading pleasure.  Sometimes I wish I had a digital business card that encapsulated all my different roles into one place. Enter About.me, a new service I learned of from Maggie Mason at Mightygirl.com.  The folks at About.

”  Whatever.  I think of my About.me page as my home page, where ANYone who has ANY reason to work with me in ANY capacity can find me. Here, have a look. What’s this “digital business card” good for, you ask?  Well, I plan to add it to my e-mail signature first.  Then I’ll post it to my Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.  And THEN, I’ll paint the URL on the side of our house.
