[ Pixar ] – Un giorno, un giovane programmatore italiano di belle speranze, scrisse un piccolo software cad, mentre dall’altro lato dell’oceano un ragazzo americano iniziò ad utilizzarlo. Quando quest’ultimo – qualche anno dopo – venne assunto dalla Pixar Animation, mostrò ai nuovi colleghi il software scritto da Guido. Guido… sì… proprio l’automobilina pitstop nel film Cars!! La ricordate? Ma doppiare Guido Cars è stato solo un gioco per Guido Quaroni, programmatore italiano alla Pixar da ormai più di 10 anni! L’orgoglio 3d italiano lavora come programmatore alla Pixar, è l’ideatore del software che ha gestito la famosissima peluria di Monsters&co, di alcuni effetti speciali apparsi qua e là in vari film, di alcune voci italo-americane come Guido in Cars …attualmente direttore del dipartimento tecnico di “Toy Story 3″, che uscirà nel 2010.
